PSEG KEYS ENERGY CENTER: CONSTRUCTION STATUS UPDATE (as of February 1, 2018)
The project remains under budget and on schedule. The Primary Critical Path remains the commissioning of HRSGs 11 & 12, low-pressure feedwater, high-pressure feedwater, intermediate pressure feedwater, and fuel gas systems to support CTG first fire. First Fire drives Steam Blows & Pipe Restoration. The Component Cooling Water and Condensate Systems are running in recirc. The Secondary Critical Path is final alignment and couple up CT12 to Generator, final alignment turning gear, installation of exciter blower ducting and exciter enclosure, commissioning activities to support initial roll of the CTGs. 118 of 182 systems have been turned over to Start-Up / Commissioning. The natural gas transmission line was placed in service on January 28th. Digital Control System Loop Checks continue. Current site manpower is 902 with 210 on night shift.
