PSEG KEYS ENERGY CENTER: CONSTRUCTION STATUS UPDATE (as of October 1, 2017)

The project remains on budget and schedule with a Guaranteed Substantial Completion Date of May 1, 2018. The current Critical Path Schedule has an April 22, 2018 COD date. The primary critical path is through the Waste, Potable, Feedwater, and Closed Cooling Water Systems. The secondary critical path is through the UPS system, Demin Water and Condensate systems. The plant switchyard has been energized including GSU-12 through Medium Voltage Switchgear. Bulk Electrical and Piping are working 6 days/week with 2 shifts/day. The STG has 18 days of float to critical path. The Air Cooled Condenser has successfully passed the vacuum test. Systems Turned Over from Construction to Start-up are 40 of 182. Preparations are being made for the HRSG Boiler Hydrostatic Tests to commence the week of October 9th. PSEG Operations Personnel are manning the Control Room 24/7. Total site manpower is 1,050 with 250 on night shift.
