PSEG KEYS ENERGY CENTER: CONSTRUCTION STATUS UPDATE (as of August 1, 2017)
The project remains on budget and schedule with a Guaranteed Substantial Completion Date of May 1, 2018. The Primary Critical Path runs through activities leading up to backfeed, energization of #12 Station Power Transformer and commissioning. The STG has 10 days of float due to schedule optimization and the addition of Siemens Supervision. Tray / Conduit installation and Cable Pulls remain in progress ahead of plan. BHI continues High Pressure pipe welding on the HRSGs. NSE/Milco continues Balance of Plant Piping installation. The Admin Building/Control Room are nearing completion for occupancy, with the Control Room Operator Consoles and Digital Control Systems being installed. The Total site manpower is 947 with 182 on night shift.
