PSEG KEYS ENERGY CENTER: CONSTRUCTION STATUS UPDATE (as of June 1, 2017)

The project remains on budget and schedule with a Guaranteed Substantial Completion Date of May 1, 2018.  The steam turbine generator (STG) remains the primary critical path with assembly of the low pressure turbine in progress. The plant electrical system is the next critical path with construction of the Main and STG electrical rooms in progress. First energization of Medium Voltage Switchgear is targeted for September 12, 2017.   CTS and WSI continue installation and welding of High Pressure Piping on both HRSGs, and BHI continues  pipe rack pipe welding.  Bulk electrical cable pulls have commenced.  Work on the ACC continues with the completion of setting the Street #1 tube bundles, and installation of the wind wall panels.   Kimball continues the power building siding and framing for the control room and administrative areas.   The new PEPCo Cheltenham Substation is compete with final testing in progress, and a target of June 7thfor energization.  The plant permanent staff is on site attending plant specific training.  Total Site manpower is 885.
