PSEG & SNC-Lavalin Celebrate Ribbon Cutting With Heart Of America For Brandywine Elementary Outdoor Classroom Project

PSEG Keys Energy Center and SNC-Lavalin officials recently celebrated with Heart of America and Prince George’s County Public Schools in the ribbon cutting for the Brandywine elementary outdoor classroom project.

The renovation project transformed the elementary schools courtyard area, into a state of the art space for students and teachers to utilize. The Courtyard/Outdoor Classroom will host areas for reading, planting, instructional sessions for science and art classes, and spaces for students to collaborate, contemplate, and explore.

PSEG Keys Energy Center and SNC-Lavalin donated materials including trees, concrete, mulch, timber etc, as well as, donating manpower to the renovation project.

Prince George’s County Councilman Mel Franklin and Maryland State Delegate Susie Proctor also attended the event.
