PSEG KEYS ENERGY CENTER: CONSTRUCTION STATUS UPDATE (as of January 1, 2017)

Setting of major equipment and installation of building steel continues. The critical path is now through the heat recovery steam generators (HRSG) and the Steam Turbine. All ten tube bundle modules have been set on both the #11 and #12 HRSGs. The main Turbine Building floor slab concrete has been completed. Setting of CT/CTG11 & 12 support modules (lube oil, compressor and electrical) are complete, and all three Generator Step-Up Transformers have been set on their foundations. Erection of the ACC continues with 16 of 36 cells erected to the fan level. Installation of the new PEPCO substation and the plant switchyard remain on schedule. Overall site backfill continues being completed up to grade elevation in the power plant area.
